The West Valley Water District has proudly served the communities of Bloomington, Colton, Fontana, Rialto, San Bernardino, and Jurupa Valley since 1952. Through name changes and consolidation, the mission has always remained the same: to provide customers with safe, high quality, and reliable water service at a reasonable rate and in a sustainable manner. The District provides water for 83,000 customers and is overseen by a five-member, publicly-elected Board of Directors.

Western Municipal Water District is securing your water supply for today and tomorrow.

Western is one of the largest public agencies in Riverside County providing water, wastewater (sewer), and recycled water services to nearly 1 million people, both wholesale and retail customers, across 527-square miles in western Riverside County.

Providing customers with an exceptional customer experience is our top priority, and we do this by pairing consistent delivery of safe, reliable drinking water and wastewater services with outstanding customer service. We view our customers as essential partners in ensuring long-term water security for our region.

Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA/Agency) is a regional wastewater treatment agency and wholesale distributor of imported water. Today, the Agency is responsible for serving approximately 875,000 people over 242 square miles in western San Bernardino County. The Agency is focused on providing three key services: (1) treating wastewater and developing recycled water, local water resources, and conservation programs to reduce the region’s dependence on imported water supplies, thus enabling the service area to become drought-resilient; (2) converting biosolids and waste products into a high-quality compost made from recycled materials; and (3) generating electrical energy from renewable sources.

The San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District is a State Water contractor that provides supplemental water to 14 retail water agencies from Fontana to Yucaipa, meeting the water needs of nearly 800,000 business and residential customers. In addition to providing supplemental water from Northern California, Valley District is responsible for long-range water planning throughout its 325 square mile service area, including groundwater management, wastewater and storm water disposal, and demand management and water use efficiency.

Rancho Water is a local, independent “Special District,” organized on August 16, 1965, operating pursuant to the California Water District Law, Division 13 of the California Water Code. Because a wide range of general and special acts exist in state law, water special districts are governed by a large number of distinct statutory authorizations, which allows the District to provide designated water services. The District’s seven-member governing body, the Board of Directors, is directly elected by the voters for a fixed term of four years and is responsible for setting policy and decision making. Legally a “political subdivision of the state,” Rancho Water operates in an open and public environment. The District’s responsible fiscal management and planning provide the financial means to ensure reliable water and wastewater system operations.

Eastern Municipal Water District is the water, wastewater service and recycled water provider to nearly one million people living and working within a 555-square mile service area in western Riverside County. It is California’s sixth-largest retail water agency, and its mission is “To deliver value to our diverse customers and the communities we serve by providing safe, reliable, economical and environmentally sustainable water, wastewater and recycled water services.”
