Program Dates

Eligibility
- Age 18 or older by March 21st, 2022
- Have a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain by March 21st
- Authorized to work in the U.S
- Interest in water sector or construction jobs
- Proof of GED or high school diploma
- Must live in San Bernardino or Riverside County
- Proof of COVD vaccination or approved exemption
Details
- (Free) College Credit Class: Introduction to Water Resource Management (3 unit class at San Bernardino Valley College)
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Interview prep training, cover letter and resume assistance
- Basic Waterworks Math Test Preparation Class (Non Credit)
- Site tours of potential employment sites at water and wastewater agencies
- Worker-rights awareness training and leadership skill development
- Referrals to job openings within the Inland Empire Water District Agencies
- Assistance with transportation and safety equipment costs
