Eligibility

  • Age 18 or older by March 21st, 2022
  • Have a valid Driver’s License or be able to obtain by March 21st
  • Authorized to work in the U.S
  • Interest in water sector or construction jobs
  • Proof of GED or high school diploma
  • Must live in San Bernardino or Riverside County
  • Proof of COVD vaccination or approved exemption

Details

  • (Free) College Credit Class: Introduction to Water Resource Management (3 unit class at San Bernardino Valley College)
  • OSHA Safety Certification
  • Interview prep training, cover letter and resume assistance
  • Basic Waterworks Math Test Preparation Class (Non Credit)
  • Site tours of potential employment sites at water and wastewater agencies
  • Worker-rights awareness training and leadership skill development
  • Referrals to job openings within the Inland Empire Water District Agencies
  • Assistance with transportation and safety equipment costs
